Amein was sent to Chicago as an enforcer to Dr Gannet and quickly cemented himself into an up and coming cortrie that worked primarily for the camarilla within Chicago. He had made a place for himself at the main Chicago hospital down under the morgue also he has set up a funeral home named " Shady Plots" that brings in a prospectively small income but can be useful for storing valuables. He has business connections with the Russian Mafia ad exports stolen cars to Russia bring in a sizable income, and consequently has access to black-market Russian military equipment. also he has scams running in several Chicago and New York hospitals where surgeons conduct false operations to be claimed through insurance.

Amein has moved into the world of international politics and has become a real player in the jihad, for example, only recently he funded  and organized a coup de ta  by releasing a known war criminal named Habré who was the president of Chad until exiled and imprisoned in Senegal awaiting extradition to Brussels for war crimes committed during his presidency of Chad. Having been secreted from prison one night Habré assembled troops on the Nigerian border for two weeks training his loyal men with ex-soviet arms and armour which were delivered for the upcoming Coup. On the night of the coup Amein and "friends" were present at a Giovanni party situated at Amiens original home village where the entire village was rounded up as the entertainment for the Giovanni notables that attended. Chad now in control by the Giovanni puppet begun hand over control to its developing "state" owned oil drilling corporations and nickel, silver and uranium mines over to Giovanni control. As can be seen Amein is beginning to become a player, "watch and learn Ventrue wannabes."

Role playing tips

Amein's Character is an unusual mixture of insecurity and arrogance, he was for a long time ridiculed by the main stream branch of the Giovanni Clan machine because of the colour of his skin and because he is not strictly born into the Giovanni family in life but was embraced by a member of the Gherbertti family named Lucrecia who in a moment of gratitude and weakness embraced his dying body for saving her life. So for the last 90  years he has lived with the tag of unsophisticated black bastard, and consequently has desperately sought clan acceptance and approval. He has shown surprising ability and natural talent in the realms of Necromancy and callousness to his fellow man, two traits that have at least allowed him some tolerance by others of his clan if not acceptance. Amein is fanatically loyal to the clan and has placed himself repeatedly and directly in harms way for the furtherance of the clans goals. Only recently to emphasize what he is prepared to do and the lengths he is willing to go to for the clan. Amein in seizing a business deal that would open up access into Washington where up until then no Giovanni had been able to penetrate into because the prince of that city could "smell " out the Giovanni Blood in family and ghouls. He subjected himself to a complicated Blood Contract and ritual with a Tremere witch named Celeste that stripped him down to a mortal losing most of his powers but allowing him to enter Washington and clinch the deal for the Giovanni. So impressed with his selfless and dangerous act that Ambrigino himself adopted him and embraced him giving him the name he had always craved "Amein Giovanni". After this sudden elevation in clan status he went from strength to strength, garnering new deals and acquiring wealth at an alarming rate that surprised even his new sire.  Amein should be played with a boy like enthusiasm tempered by a sardonic callousness for the suffering of others when things are going well. However, Amein has a vile temper particularly when he feels either he or the family has been insulted and can often go into rages where his excesses in dealing out pain and terror would Charles Manson shocked at his actions, in essense if you can get away with it let your basest emotions and darkest fantasies run free, this however must be brought into consideration of whether the provocateur has power or importance to a scheme he has, if this is the case he will sit on his rage unless he can safely divert it to some unsuspecting schmuck or until the person is no longer useful, then look out.

* important note* ALL insults are remembered and people go on a list to be dealt with when practical, people he has to wait a long time to deal with get  "special" attention to compensate his emotional exertion and suppression. Make all attempts to play the genteel Giovanni when playing Amein but there should be the feeling that there is something unraveling behind that smiling dark face.  

Amein is sexually impotent and this is also an avenue of shame shame and humiliation that fuels his rage. His attitude towards women is reflected by the worst aspects of a tribal society while adopting the misogamist venom that permeates this society. It must be said at this point that only mature story tellers should use Amein as an NPC as the character would have a powerful impression on a chronicle as he must be treated as a kind of malevolent cancer that without careful playing would spread his powerbase quickly and unbalance the story with his presence.
